Tomb Raider : Worth it for a tenner?

    http://www.gamefly.co.uk/Download-To.../#.Ua4u2EBwpzg

Not sure if I could get it for lower simply by waiting for the Steam Summer Sale...? (I'm assuming it's a good game...)

edit: oops, didn't realise there was already a TR thread :/

Definitely worth it! I paid about 20-25 quid for it and don't regret it. A great game with amazing visuals! 10 quid is a bargain

Re: Tomb Raider : Worth it for a tenner?

Yup, I picked it up for £15 or so while steam had it on half price, and its well worth it at that price. Got a good 12 hrs out of the single player alone, though I havnt given the mp a shot as yet

Re: Tomb Raider : Worth it for a tenner?

Aye paid around the same and got 13hrs worth of gameplay again don't regret it for a second at a tenner its a bargain tbh. Having played through quite a few of the tomb raiders must admit i rather enjoyed this one and it normally takes a lot to get me into platformers more a RTS/FPS person.

Nice find, although I can't say I'm impressed with Gamefly. Why do they make you down & install their game client, just to give the Steam activation code? Why can't they just email me the damn code like every other etailer?

Strange, my first ordered from them yesterday was Serious Sam 1 + 2 Steam keys and it didn't prompt me for download. I obtains the keys from the purchase page and from email as well then activate it via Steam.

My First tomb raider game was TR II so this will be interesting to play TR as I got it as bundle with my graphics card.

Scratch that: The key is included in the email confirmation. Still, I wish they'd made that clearer!

Re: Tomb Raider : Worth it for a tenner?

I reckon Tomb Raider will be down to around £8 in a month or so. I'm probably going to make the dive now however. It was pretty good when I started it on Xbox, just never got around to finishing it.

Took me ages on that map to figure out you had to suicide a boat to get through lol. Then again was a lot younger.
