Hey, I'm fairly new to the pc gaming scene but looking for some pretty decent tech. I've been doing a fair amount of research but could definitely do with a pro's insight.
Cpu= AMD Phenhom II or Amd Fx 8320
Motherboard=Asus p8z77
Gpu=Gigabyte Nvidia Gtx 650 ti
Ram= Corsair 8gb ddr3 1600Mhz
Psu= corsair 600w

the p8z77 is a Intel socket 115 mobo.
What is the PSU model? 600w is probably overkill.
Check amazon for crucial ballistix. There are 4gb for £20.

Private study, Noise is no problem... what would you recommend for gaming only. Lets say the budget around £500/£600 what's the best I can do?
Will you be reusing parts to build new pc?
I assume you need a monitor,peripherals and an OS??

What about the other bits I mentioned in my last post??
Just a generic case and 1tb hard drive not sure about anything else about it. Peripherals, monitor and os I can worry about later. I'm just looking at the actual system it's self atm

Z77 motherboard £60-70. Scour ebay business sellers and Froogle.
No cooler or SSD though. OOh needs an optical drive £12. I give up this is too much work.

You will able to get ultra on battlefield 3 SP according to the video, not sure if accurate, at 1080p resolution
look out for scan today only deals they are pretty good
