Big +1 for Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect (though neither are PC-exclusive). I'm surprised nobody has suggest Starcraft 2! Saints Row Third is brilliant fun too.

I hate to say it, but Dota 2 is actually pretty good.
It's the most played game on Steam right now, so it's not just my opinion but the opinion of the Russian Federation as well!
Seriously though, it's surprisingly good fun with friends. If you haven't checked it out yet I have plenty of Steam gift keys (username is Lurchibles) so just add me to your friends list and I'll send you a copy![]()
war thunder and mechwarrior online are both F2P and excellent games.
The total war series of games are awesome also grid 1 and 2 if you like racing theres always the crysis games if you have the horsepower and if you haven't played half life2 that's pretty much compulsory for a pc gamer so is every fallout game. =-)
Best games to me are those i never get bored of.
These should work on low end system:
- Command and Conquer (All Version)
- Halo Combat Evolve
- GTA Vice City/San Andreas
- Dragon Age (can't remember which i was playing)

as far as i understand you are more of war game fan guy. I believe according to your playing games try battlefield 2 , farcry and crysis series ( i am honestly believe crysis can work in ur system.) gud luck
Borderlands 2
I have amassed a load games that I have just not got round to playing but no have just recently finished:
farcry 3
tomb raider (new one)
Mass effect 3 with all DLC's
Bioshock Infinite
Bioshock
All these games are thoroughly enjoyable![]()
Skyrim is still a must have I think, the PC version especially with all the great mod support.
I recently found a whole new island with fully voiced quests and a mod which gives you the powers from Dishonored!
For the lower end PC, I'd recommend a lot or pretty much all of the VALVE games. Downloading Steam is a definite, there's a sale on now, bargains to be bought for sure!
For something that is a little different to the norm, I'm really enjoying:
Kerbal Space Program ( just got the first part of my space station into orbit)
Prison Architect ( still in alpha but very playable )
Rouge Legacy ( oldskool gaming at it's best)
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
League of Legends - Free
Dota 2 - Free
These are the three main games that I play on a low-end PC and they run pretty well. Fun to play and have a good UK community unlike some of the more popular games of today![]()
Politics is were the working man pays his hard earned money to a group of clueless people to make suspect decisions.
Yep, I've just rediscovered my love for it.
A perfect example of a game that doesn't need flashy graphics effects to justify it's existence. It's incredibly addictive - I've played it through at least 30 or more times and it still bitchslaps me from time to time. Bags of fun, with far more replay value than most AAA titles.
Can't beat the FPS games. Currently playing / just finished CS:GO, Far Cry 3 and Bioshock Infinite.
