Best PC games at the moment.

So I've recently built myself a basic low end computer, which is able to run games at lower quality. I am a console person but I wanted to give some PC games a go. So far I've tried Battlefield 3, Black Ops 2, GTA 4 and the usual Minecraft, AOE etc.

If you know of any other games that I should try please post a reply.

Really depends on what kind of game you're after.

Current games that I enjoy/want to play:
Don't Starve
TF2
Counter Strike: Global Offensive
Metro 2033 (replaying so I can play Last Light) (probably not a great choice if your PC is low end since it's a bit of a pig to run)


Then some of my favourite games:
KOTOR 1 and 2
Age of Pirates 1 and 2
Mount and Blade: Warband
Cossacks 2

There are many more great games, really depends on what you like etc

Ok Thanks, I think I will give Counter Strike a go. You're probably right with Metro 2033, doubt my PC will be able to handle it.

I would recommend having a look at the GOG catalogue of games as they have some awesome classics. Good thing about their games also is the fact that they are DRM free and with them being older titles you will have no issues running them.

Rogue Trooper & Judge Dredd - Love 2000AD and these are both decent games if you like their respective comics

Farcry 3 for longevity. or pick a genre that you would struggle to play well on a console, such as grand strategy or 4x games (civ 5, gods and kinds version to name but one)

I just don't rate many of them at the moment. Lat good ones I played was COD4 and mutt ask time favorite was joint operations, where can you get up to 150 on a server and maps as big as you want.

League of Legends is kinda okay with friends. I quite enjoy playing Civ 5 with all expansions too

just one worth mentioning in terms of longevity skyrim the mods are soooo varied andeasy to install ive probably put in close to 200 hours since launch

The hidden(a mod for the source engine but if you get team fortress 2 it should work) so its a free game!

Team fortress 2 is always good

You know that scope is a pretty neat idea for shooting in Enclave, pity more games never had it . For spells out of range you could see how a rogue would be deadly using it..
