    Re: Graphics Cards

Vote here for the GTX660 - clearly superior to the 7850 and really incredible performance for the money. It should happily max Battlefield 3 at 1080p.

    Re: Graphics Cards

I have that powercolour 2gb model and its cool, quiet and overclocks like a beast. I'm running it at 1215mhz core and 1425mhz memory.

    Re: Graphics Cards

If I may give some constructive advice to the OP, leaving aside pricing for a moment: The 660 is marginally faster than the 7850 in many (but not all) games. It is much slower if you require any compute power, and uses a fraction more power.

Based upon that summary, and the fact that prices are similar, look at what you'll get bundled and you'll find your answer.

    Re: Graphics Cards

The 660 is noticeably faster in many but not all games, and actually cheaper than the 7850.

The 7850 does have more compute power and more bundled games.

    Re: Graphics Cards

    Another vote for the GTX660

I personally run an MSI 2GB GTX660 OC, and love it. More than powerful enough to run BF3 at High settings. (Saying that though, I kind of wish I had gone for the Twin Frozr instead of the regular cooler!)

    Re: Graphics Cards

    IMO:

    660 > 7850
    OC'ed 7850 > OC'ed 660

However, if you are prioritising how well these cards perform for BF3/4, Nvidia seems to have better optimisation for BF3.
Apparently though, BF4 will have better AMD optimisation so yeah...
