    Gaming/Office Chair

Looking for a general computer chair, can't really find anything that convinces me, but someone must have experience of some good chairs?

    So far have found:
    http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20103101/
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DX-RACER-G...288#vi-content

But there must be better out there..

I'm also in the market for a new chair as I'm moving into a new flat at the weekend. Got my eye on this at the moment but seeing if there is anything else: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Executive-ch...=IGZWYSH19LCEG

In that price range the Markus looks like the best choice. the Amazon racer is a bit too garish for me.

    Re: Gaming/Office Chair

Anyone got anything they are actually sitting on that they would recommend?

I mean DisturbedGuy's chair seems to take some punishment, but would prefer something more substantial.

I'm hoping to get one when I move.
They are used at most pro-gaming tournaments and people seem to swear by them

I was talking about the chair in your gif

Yeah I keep seeing those chairs at gaming tournaments which got me interested, the ebay link I posted is a variant of one.
But are they any good or is it just sponsorship?

    Re: Gaming/Office Chair

My suggestion would be look for salvage/reclamation places, I got my current chair from a local place to me, they'd obliviously got a load from an office because they had 20 of the same chair, so I got a really nice chair for £50

ahaha that was during a "lesson" in college

Some teams are obviously sponsored by them (EG is one) but I dont think some tournaments are and I've seen a few posts from none pro gamers saying they are good.

    Re: Gaming/Office Chair

I really enjoying this chair, but as a massive lardarse I needed to get something to comfortably hold my bulk. I find it very comfy, and very very sturdy, though it was a pain to put together

    This bad boy.

Just moved into a new office and the current chair is all sorts of awful. Once I get some spare change I might get this for home and bring my current one in.

If you're looking to spend some money on a nice chair then I've heard nothing but good things about the herman miller chairs, although they aren't cheap.
