Wow that is nice!
What kinda framerate do you get with it on those settings?!
:D
sh1t, Skii,.....what is that?
is that a a game?
That has to be a pre rendered pic.. Does it come in 1240*1024??
Er - its a real photograph taken from another plane/chopper!
Butuz
It looks to me like the background and immediate foreground (the small edge of canopy visible in the bottom left) are a photograph. The spitfires look as though they've been painted in somehow.
Its a painting ;)
ahhh - a very,very photrealistic one
The glints from the water or glass on the ground (bottom left), the low cloud (lower right), the misty landscape and the way the light is hitting the mist in the valley, and the high cirrus clouds (top left) are all absolutely stunning - an amazing study of light. It's only really the Spitfires that give the game away, but even they are fantastically well painted. Who is the artist?
Nice
By an artist called 'Aria' from this site www.cgtalk.com/index.php?
so not strictly a painting - it's CG. The spitfires, modeled by the 'artist', have been placed over the top of a photograph taken by the artist on a flight to LA.
