Hey all,
A friend and I are setting up a London Lan game, BOYT, CS, Dota and TF to start. Venue, and all will be provided. I am just doing some market research on how many people would be interested. Any feedback would be appreciated

CS1.6 or CSGO?
Also, it would be a good idea to include League of Legends as it is a huge game at the moment.
Would be open to either depending on demand.
I used to play a lot of LOL so would be up for that. Again all depends on numbers.
Considering your planning it for London, it would most likely be best to have both versions included as you may attract a few of the old school UK players who have been looking for a LAN event for 1.6
TheSGL.com is where you can find quite a few old school players who still keep in touch.
If you post your idea in gaming league websites, you'll get more attention there too. Make sure to contact the league's admins as us gamer's are seeing fewer LAN events here in the UK (albeit the iSeries LAN's).
Im relatively sure a pretty big LAN centre opened in London recently-ish but I cant remember the name of it :/
I will google and see if I can find it
Wish there was a good LAN center up here in the North West. My local LAN cafe shut down and now its a bridal shop...
Hey, are you thinking of the one in tropicana?
Also, Has any one had experience getting sponsoring?
For sponsors, I've found the best way to go about it is to just contact different companies and business and simply ask if they would like to sponsor an event.
If you don't ask, you don't get :)
Worst case scenario, they say no.
I think you are referring to Trocadero?

That the one, pretty much the only other place in London. We are thinking of hosting a tournament too but we need to get off the ground first.
