Got to say, this patch had better fix the crashing.......it's been a joke that for 2 weeks they have been fiddling with the servers while clients are crashing....even more so that they tried to palm it off as problems with users PCs...

Heres hoping to being back on track.

I imagine the server and client teams are made up of different developers. Either way the sad reality is the servers are in a worse shape then the client. This lunchtime R10 has been released. Thats the 10th server patch in 2 weeks!

Looks like they are to roll out another R11 as this server patch is crashing ?
Many are saying the client patch is a mess too ! Haven't tried it my self yet but even if it stop my crashing to DT I'll be happier...

yeh the game is still a mess. there are now more lag or hitbox issues from my experience this evening. shooting someone point blank in the chest 3 times with no hits registering apparently. had lots of stuff like that tonight. press to detonate c4 and nothing happens. keep pressing for about 2 seconds, but still nothing, then suddenly you die. sound bugs are still there too. it can be really good fun when you get lucky and play a full round without any issues. but those are few and far between!

despite all that it does genuinely have moments of greatness, I've just spent the last 50 minutes on a 1.2k ticket Zavod map with a great squad, and honestly, best gaming experience in a while. The less said about the muppet thinking he can use the attack boat as an MAA with no upgrades the round before the better.

Seems like you can get some of the China Rising unlocks early. Tried the UCAV which is fun for trolling roof campers, not sure how useful in general though and the MTAR-21 which is really good, might replace my ACW-R.

So patch...

4 hour session last night and the only time I was crashing out was during map changes but it looked like the servers were responsible for that. Sound issues are worse for me than they were before but that's playable. FPS has gone up with this patch from an average of 60-70 to 70-80.

In multiplayer after this patch half the time my screen is blurry with messed up colours. Someone said in-game that everyone is getting that. What is it?

kind of fades into red and green everynow and again? Mine does it too - I thought it was maybe ping related, but I've just been on a server with a consistent 10-15 ping and it kept doing ti.

Yep that's the one. A sort of red/green distortion. Not good for my aim.

Is it related to the Network Smoothing setting? When you are changing that it says about Graphical Glitches.

No, its a definate deliberate thing, or if its not its a very random thing
