Do you have any problems in small man servers ? I find most of the issues are in large servers, played some TDM last night & hit markers were all there & none of the net code fail I get in 64 man servers ? Give a no more than 32 man server a go & see if its the same !

I would of thought the next patch will be when the next DLC comes, which will be the 6th December...

Nah Mantle patch it meant to be coming next month.

I was actually surprised how well the game ran before I upgraded. My i5 760 & Single 7950 was running it on High everything at 1440p with no issues.

Is it just me or is the game absolutely ballsed tonight? I'm getting hit regs, kill notifications, then watching the guy run round for 10 seconds before dropping dead somewhere.

I only play 64 player servers. Not interested in less players than that tbh. It feels too empty otherwise. That's because I pretty much only play conquest. But sometimes I dabble in the other game modes, and some of them work ok with less players. But servers are not always full you know.. I've played when 64 player servers have been less than half full for a while, and problems are still there. I feel like the game is becoming more and more broken as it goes on. They've improved crashes, and server filters a little. But other things have gotten worse, and some problems are still the same as on launch. It's just to the point where I don't want to play it anymore. The frustration to fun ratio is too far off for me to enjoy it unfortunately :/

Can you believe it - they're running a tournament with the game in this state! What if the game bugs out and screws it up for someone? They must have a secret patch they're using for this

Its the 64 player servers that I also have most issues on. I'm not playing mostly on 48 players which is still good fun. 32 player has to move down to the small CQ maps otherwise feels very empty.

Yeh this is what I hear. But for me it's not really an option you know.. I like to play conquest with 64 players. I wish there were more than 64 players on some levels. But god knows what a mess that would be lol... Maybe I'll play some Arma 3 and try out the updated Planetside 2 for a while. Those are both great games I already know better than preordering games and playing them within the first month or two of release these days. You pay more for a worse condition game. Just doesn't make sense. But as I've said before - this is one of the very few games I look forward to enough to do this. Will have to reconsider for the next instalment!

I want to play Battlefield 4 on my PC but I can’t. 4 GB ram is not enough to run this?

Maybe Just, if you stick to smaller maps. My RAM utilisation maxes out at about 5GB when gaming. That being said, ram is pretty cheap.

what's your system spec. I'd be worrying about CPU and GPU before worrying about ram, though I think min recommended is 8GB IIRC

The most I have ever seen the game take up is 2.8GB, most maps its only 2GB though. A 4GB machine can cope with that fine.

So your using 2gb...with 6 free....and that's before Windows unloads all the unnecessary stuff from ram that it has cached to reach 22% usage
