I;m finding the new maps mediocre at best, maybe its just because I don't know them, but the one with the big dome in the middle in particular is sniper/tank heaven. Theres tonnes of AA on the new maps as well, so you can't even balance it back with helis.

The new Patch seems to fix that MAV issue but I found I'm getting clipped more that before round corners ! Any one else found this ? It could be just me internet being slow to retrieve the data back to my PC...

Also anyone getting the what I call the "forward bug", you can have the "W" pressed down but you don't go anywhere & you have to lift your finger & place it back for it to activate ! BF3 was the same but only forward, BF4 does it for all my key presses & I found my mouse buttons too. I had a moment where I reloaded & hit my left mouse to fire at a enemy & nothing fired, after losing most of my health lifted again to engage the fire button for it to fire ???

In a chat to a team mate its clear that BF4 assault players don't Res anyone anymore ? Some do but out of 25 of my death I would say I get picked up once or twice ? I always try to res a team member when its clear to do so or clear the area then go back but people just leave you in BF4 & then a ticket is lost for that death. If they known that you can res some one from about 3m away you can stay in cover & the recipient can get into cover (hopefully) !!!

Overall I have enjoyed playing it but I enjoyed BF3 more, just hope they sort out the bugs & the overall balance of the game !

As assault I find myself using the under-barrel attachments more than in the BF3 so I have to make a choice between Deflib or Med box... I usually run Defib unless the game is turning into a very lone wolf game

When running with defib I die a lot as I tend to go out of my way to rez people (and get killed a lot trying to defib enemies )

I also have that problem. It annoyed me in BF3 so much, and has happened a few times in BF4 as well. I didn't know if it was my keyboard or something. But I don't recall it happening in any other game. I get it with vehicles as well. How frustrating >_<

Next time you Roll with them try to see how far you can get someone up ! The distance is insane but rewarding for spam res in Op Locker

They've gone for huge, which I get, but when some tard teararses off in the LAV after capping the flag and then leaves you sat with the prospect of a 5 minute hike to get where you're going it can be a proper pain in the arse

Those situations do happen and are annoying sometimes. But there seem to be more vehicles in this game to accommodate for the bigger maps. There usually seems to at least be a quad bike nearby in most cases I find. But I've definitely found myself having to run quite far sometimes. But as someone who's been playing Arma right from the start - it's not that much of a big deal. Sometimes in Arma when there is no one to pick you up, you will find yourself travelling on foot for an hour or something. Not even firing a single shot the whole time. That does actually really put me off playing it sometimes. But still - it makes the travelling done on foot in BF4 seem pretty bearable

Wouldn't be surprised if they have a silent nerf of the weapons ! They did it in BF3 but the first nerf was listed as they had over or under powered weapons ?... I have to say I've not noticed anything but I've only used two guns since the patch & they seem the same !

Its surprisingly easy to get into, and you get good pretty fast. If you're new to games try and find a decent squad to tag along with and play support/engineer till you get a feel for the maps.

If anything it's worse since the patch. On the upside I haven't crashed at all. Well it crashes when I try and quite but that's not really that bothersome
