Sure mate, well my Optoma is incoming after having to be sent back - not a great start but Optoma were good about a replacement, so give me a few days and I'll see what I can do

It's actually a spare room setup, but my pops gave me a hand since he is a builder - so a pretty pro job. I basically have a ceiling mounted PJ and a home-made grey painted screen - works really well, although again I'm putting a lot of it down to a great finish on it due to my old man

The best bet for a budget projector is to buy it second hand
TBH from somewhere like avforums. You should be able to get something not too bad for £300ish, possibly less. Largely they hold their value (to a point), so you won't lose much on them.
TBH I'd go for a 720p one if your limited by budget. I sold my old Infocus 76 for less than £200, and despite a few dust blobs was in great nick. If you wanted to look around £300-400, you should be able to pick up a JVC-HD1, which is pretty old (and massive!) but still incredible picture quality and will destroy most budget models
Thanks. It's not the be all and end-all of course, just wondered if it's worth a look seeing as I've gone 3D. I'm not the biggest supporter of 3D myself, see it more of an added bonus - in some cases. Cheers
