    Hawx

Got it a while back and forgot about it. Opened it today and was sorely disappointed. Rubbish console port. Awful interface, even their realistic extreme difficulty setting is a breeze. Lame lame lame. Are there any decent fighter i.e flight combat games out there? Bf2 remains the best thing i've found. (and it isn't exactly primarily set up as a flight sim!)

Would have thought that the late Tom Clancy's name attached would have been a give away that it was a game rather than something more serious. That said, I remember getting a free copy with my old GF460 and not being able to claim it because Ubisoft's demented eCommerce site wouldn't accept any of my credit cards, so I couldn't make the required £0 payment to get the game.

Tried HAWX2 and that's just as bad. Then again, I shouldn't really cast stones perhaps since I thoroughly enjoyed the last two Ace Combat games - and they're arguably even less "sim" than HAWX.

Kind of went off flight sims when Microsoft dropped the Force Feedback version of the Sidewinder joystick (which I've still got somewhere).

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...
