The Moose does not have one. It swam over, but its not sure what it swam over from. Or it plummeted from somewhere. Or probably just randomly materialised.

You get Moose and Elk in Europe! The problem is that Moose are also called Elk(for some silly reason) in Europe or Moose and Elk are called Elk. This is what happens when people don't look at their Cervidae identification guide.

Elk are naturally grumpy,so Moose get offended due to their happy go lucky attitude to life(and death and gravity).

I have never been to a LAN event so it's something I want to experience but whenever I have tried to get to one something has managed to get in the way. A lot would depend on dates, costs and size of the event, I think smaller would be better for my first event, but not too small, obviously, and I might have a second person that may be interested in this.

I know someone who had to waitress at a LAN event a couple of years ago. Apparently it was an odd affair. Some folks took it so seriously they opted to pee themselves in their seats than get up to use the bathroom! (and we're talking several, not just one). Oh and one kid got arrested for fiddling with himself in the toilets. Apparently the detritus of junk food and human excretions at the end were incomprehensible. Now they always look at me weird if I mention I'm going to a LAN. So, just to be clear, this won't be one of those right? I'm not keen on the idea of sitting in a room smelling of pee, or worse a chair already soaked in it.

I am unsure what lan events you have been to but i remember lots of drinking and walking to an actual toilet to empty bowls...oh and practical jokes on people who unfortunately drink to much and pass out XD

I don't mind too much as long as I can avoid inner London. In my opinion, the worst places in the world to drive in increasing levels of distress are; India, China, Kuala Lumpur, a freshly laid landmine field, Stalingrad circa 1942, and then Inner London.

know what you mean. Driving in London's a doddle providing you do it between 2am and 6am when the roads are more empty. weekends you tend to get a window up to circa 9am then all chaos breaks loose.

Me and Bagnaj97 are still interested and we might be able to drag another two or three people along with us!

This wouldn't be till next year, January probably. This topic was just to see how much interest there would be, and it sounds like there should be enough!

Re: Would anyone be interested in a small LAN party, St Albans?

January might be a tad too early in the year, financially I'll still be recovering from December. So late Feb early march would work better for me.
