Diablo 3 Account Hacked, Wth Moment...

So very rare i play Diablo 3 these days with path of exile out, but decided I'd go back into it and start a witchdoctor earlier this week, got to about level 12 and left it at that. Logged in tonight to find my account was in use and my monk character which i left around level 60/10 was now level 60/43, not only that hes been totally reworked with legendary items and massive damage output. First thing i did was change my password and login details on blizzards website, the thing that really has been brain racking is the fact the person has spent time upgrading the character giving them far Superior items then what they had and has not stripped my account clean, they have actually left all the other characters alone and just played the monk, since the person also knew my login details they could of quite easily changed the password on blizzards websites since i didn't have a mobile auth code thingy.

Iv'e already ran multiple spyware and virus scans and found nothing, I'm also not the type to put my password into anything thats not secure so how the hell did they find it out.

If it's the same password as used anywhere else then they could have got it from a hack elsewhere, ie mail accounts etc. It could have been a man in the middle attack etc. Lots of vectors. Use the authenticator or some form of two factor auth.

As for the leveling, presume someone was using your character as a mule/to help level to order. The black market sucks and it's only going to get worse once they close the auction houses.

Funny thing is the email i used for Diablo 3 was setup just for that at the time, normally use another one for everything else. My Email accounts also have different passwords, got a feeling this is a Blizzard leak they anit mentioned. I've emailed Blizzard anyway to see if they can find out whats gone on, got me a little spooked.

Happened to me on runes cape. Someone got into my account and when I went on it a year later I was level 101 from 80 and had 100m I'm cash. I almost felt bad for resetting my password, not that it did anything because it was hacked again and jagex won't give it back to me becasue I don't like in Spain anymore and can't prove my address
