    Problems Bailing in PF?

    Has anyone else had difficulties bailing from some aeroplanes in PF? I can't seem to bail from the IJN bomber campaign at all. And on a DF server last night I couldn't get out of a Tomahawk. I wondered at first if you needed to manually open the canopy, but nope, no bail acheived. Though I got out of a Beau ok

    Maybe u cant bail out when ur going fast due to air effects on the cockpit.

    I know that effect has been modelled into IL2 FB for a while. Try bailing wing a wing blown off as you plummet to the ground - you have to be lucky, or slow the plane somehow (I usually turn off the engine and deploy flap in those situations - sometimes helps).

    But no, in these instances I'm talkign about the plane was stable and in very slow flight (less than 180kph), full flap. You can't go that fast in the IJN bomber anyway!

    Just read in the Ubi forums that there is a no parachute facility. This can be activated in the full mission builder for every squad in COOP/singleplayer or every "homebase" in dogfight missions!

    It must be activated for the IJN bomber mission. Makes getting home extra important!

    Been doing a bit of reading on Ubi for this too. Apaprently, if you enable no chutes you can't bail at all, not even when on the ground. I think someone is posting it as a bug. IMHO, you should be able to bail, regardless of chutes or not, it should just affect your pilot's landing speed.
