Ahh, I see what you mean - I just went through the Logitech website and read more about it.
I personally just use the on-board memory and config each game to match the one profile, probably because I switch between several PCs and can't install the software on the work ones.

    Pretty cool, eh!

Incidentally, this page seems to have lots of useful info, so might be useful to any other G700S users in future: http://logitech-en-emea.custhelp.com...ail/a_id/41585

I found that my G700s eats batterys so i have had to revert back to been a wired mouse which puts a dampner on things slightly.

I wouldn't say that it makes it hard to live with the mouse, the battery isn't fantastic, but it is a single AA battery, running a wireless connection with a sensor that polls at upto 1000 times a second with a very high resolution, maybe swapping out the 1900mah battery for a 2700mah battery might help with that but it even then I very much doubt it would ever last as long as a Microsoft Sidewinder Wireless mouse, I know someone that uses one of those and he gets over a month on a full charge with as much if not more usage than my mouse is getting.

So far, other than the software issues I experienced, I am happy with it, give me a week with it and I'll see if I feel the same way.
