i want a dead silent mouse for gaming.... please help me
now i have a Nexus Silent Mouse SM-8500B but is just for office.... it sucks badly at FPS gaming![]()
Its a bit precey but Logitch g510 is pretty awesome
What do you mean by a "silent mouse"? never really heard of one. Are those the one's that don't go *Squeak*? - bad pun, sorry can't help it
Well I've never heard of a gaming mouse that doesn't make a *click* sound, that's actually part of why people buy those mice it's the same thing with mech KBs, the noise actually helps you in knowing that you've already pressed a button - it's sort of a mental thing really. With that said I find it hard to use a laptop with rubber keys, I feel like I need to hit those as hard as I can...
I play Dota 2, LoL and CS:GO so I think I can assume we look for similar things in a gaming mouse? I'd highly recommend the corsair m40, had mine for a few months and I love the little guy
Deathadder is good and cheap for gaming mouse
for keyboard, i will call for steelseries 6Gv2
I own a Microsoft Intellimouse 3, Razer DeathAdder and a Roccat Kone XTD, and I would recommend the Roccat Kone XTD since you're into DOTA 2 and FPS games.
The build quality is fantastic. Much better than the DeathAdder. The scroll wheel is very, very solid (a tiny bit too solid for me). They claim it can withstand up to 3.5KG in any direction, though I won't want to test that. The buttons use high quality Japanese Omron switches (rated to 5 million clicks). The mouse has a soft rubber coating and it doesn't make me sweat. The overall quality of it all is just amazing.
For DOTA 2 and other MOBA or MMORPG games, the Roccat Kone XTD has a really useful programmable feature called EasyShift which allows you to double your mouse buttons -- turning this 12 button mouse into 24(-1). It does this simply by using the mouse's [Back button] as a shift key, just like your keyboard's [Shift] key ([Shift] + [a] = [A]). So your [Left-click] functions as something else when you hold the mouse's [Back button(Easyshift)] + [Left-click] = [(your assigned function/macro)]. All of the keys are programmable, even the scrollwheel. It's really simple and easy to get used to. You can also disable this Easyshift feature if you want too.
This mouse is suitable for FPS too.
I don't have any issues with this mouse really. They've fixed the slowness issue with their latest firmware so you can ignore some of the outdated reviews regarding this issue.
It's a very customisable mouse and you can make it load different mouse settings for different games. I highly recommend the Roccat Kone XTD.
Deathadder and a Corsair K70.
Its kind of expensive but the Corsair M65 has great build quality and Corsair's RMA service is great.
logitech mice are very reasonably priced and last well - customer service is fantastic, also! Not sure what the current newest version of the MX518 is... G400s? I have many friends that also swear by them
I use a steelseries wireless sensei and I am moderately satisfied with it, before that I used a a logitech G7 for like 6 years because it was an exceptional mouse in my opinion. I tried looking for something similar when I switched and there is absolutely nothing on the market that comes close to that even today. I am of course not talking about the dpi, that has been improved, but in general wireless mice are just not cutting it even close to that one. I have tried the razer ouraboros as well (returned it... twice) it is just heavy, clunky and unbalanced (very bottom heavy).
I loved the G7 because it had a removable light battery and it came with 2, 1 in the mouse, 1 in the dock charging, and when you ran out, you just flipped the two, done... why is it that nobody does that these days? not razer, not steelseries. Most convenient thing ever, you never run out of battery... Yes you can plug the mouse in if it is low, but if I wanted a wired mouse I wouldnt have paid double the proce for a wireless one....
All in all the steelseries wireless sensei comes close, it is balanced and light
