    Re: Diablo III: Loot 2.0

Thanks, I'll check out diabloprogress.com, used wowprogress.com a lot before, didn't even know one existed for D3.

To be honest though, most of what I am looking at requires already having certain gear (like set items, or as you advised +dmg items), there's not a lot out there, that I can find, that helps new 70's that don't have all the gear needed for these awesome builds.

Oh well, I'll drop the difficulty tonight and see how it goes. Cheers for the help so far everyone!

For interim gear you want in rough order of priority:
    - Sockets (3 Chest, 2 Legs, 1 each Amulet, Rings, Weapon)
    - DEX: Adds DPS and Armour which increases Toughness.
    - CC/CD: A rough 1:10 ratio of Critical Chance to Critical Damage is a good guide. This is oversimplifying the impact they have on DPS but is a good starting point.
    - VIT/All Res: Vitality for health and All Resistance for mitigation. Having too much of one over the other is bad. I'd say aim for 400-600k health as a DH and the rest should be mitigation (All Res and Armour). While you're building up mitigation extra health can be handy.
    - AS: Attacking faster is nice but not that important until you start getting in a full build out (i.e. Set gear).

A high DPS weapon is very important and can make a large difference since everything else is based of it's core damage. The legendary bow you had on your profile last night is a good start, just needs an emerald.

You can get jewellery sockets later but they're needed for the powerful Legendary Gems.

Fill the Armour and Weapon sockets with emeralds (green) and either an amethyst (purple) or ruby (red) in the helm. The ruby in the helm won't really add much until you start running GRs so I recommend amethyst.

Unless you have materials to spare, I would limit the rolling you do on any interim gear.

Next time we're both on for a decent period of time I'll run you through a few T10's if you'd like? If I use my DH I can give you any decent smart loot as well.

    Re: Diablo III: Loot 2.0

Got some lovely new items last night, again thanks to Bugbait! I now don't have any items lower than legendary equipped, and after giving me one item from a 2-item set, the other dropped for me (and they are apparently BiS for all classes, which is nice).

By the way, you said I would fine T1 a breeze now, heh, you weren't kidding! I did a T1 rift in less than 10 minutes and the bounties (for the cache bonus) in less than 30 minutes. I also found a portal after killing a goblin to some zone where I managed to rack up over 40m gold and got tonnes of gems! Killed this big huge thing called Greed and got another legendary gem as well.

Need to up the Torment level now, see what I can handle, get some more GR keys and find myself a Gem of Ease... The itch to level up an alt is getting bad!

I've only had the portal to the treasure realm open once.. and I had to leave the house for a meeting 90 seconds later so sad.

BiS for many builds on each class, not every one .

The bow alone would’ve been a large upgrade from before so at least you’ll be okay for a while. The BiS bow for that build is the Yang’s Recurve and it will significantly increase your DPS when you get one.

Greed isn’t too hard to reach now via Puzzle Rings in Kanai’s Cube. I’ve got about 16 or so left after using about 8 to cash up some friends. So keep those puzzle rings!

    Re: Diablo III: Loot 2.0

Up to Paragon 95 and Torment 4 now, can still do rifts reasonably quickly (~15 minutes). Gonna try T5 tomorrow. Wanna hit T10 and run some GR's and run some "uber" bosses for mats to create some kick ass level 1 gear.

Would be much more fun if other people were playing, only even see Bugbait online and his characters are way too powerful for me!

All 12 of my characters are level 70, although several are on mule duties. I can use the poorly geared ones if it's more fun

Sent requests to Allen#2319 and WreckitCamz#2361.

I'm not on much now (compared to the start of the season). I have a well geared Monk, Barb and okay Crusader. Might see you around Wednesday-Thursday evening.

    Re: Diablo III: Loot 2.0

Hadn't played D3 in yonks. Noticed a thread on Reddit saying that the new season (S9) started the other day. I've never tried the whole seasonal thing so thought I'd give it a whirl and I am hooked.

Currently running a Witch Doctor (never played one before) farming T6 rifts and GR25, completed the seasonal achievements for full set gear making my damage output INSANE! Bit of a glass cannon, but makes it way more fun than my previous tanky Barb, took ages to kill but was damn near invulnerable.

Also, there's an anniversary event going on at the moment called "The Darkening of Tristram" taking the game back to D1 with old skool graphics and sounds, loads of bosses and old loot. Runs until the end of January. Well worth playing through!

Anyone else (apart from Bugbait, was chatting to him the other day) playing S9 and want to group up?
