    Question Question about Grim Dawn

I backed Grim Dawn on Kickstarter way back when (lowest tier ($18), I'm ashamed to say ). I was sent a game key not long after the game was funded. TBH I haven't really been following the progress of the game since then, but I did notice that it's been on Steam as an early access game for quite a while now. I also remember something about Humble Store handling keys and having to log in to claim a Steam key, but when I log in there's nothing for me to claim.

Has anyone here been keeping tabs on the development of the game? Should I have access to anything on Steam by this time and if so, ought I contact Humble Support on the matter?

    I'm a little confused.
You say you were sent a key not long after the game was funded? Is that not a steam key? Can you not go 'activate a product on steam'?
If in any doubt just send them a message through kickstarter and see what they say.

    Re: Question about Grim Dawn

Thanks for your reply. When I was sent the key Steam wasn't specifically mentioned as a distribution method. Apparently they only later decided that Steam was the way to go, at least for "early access".

The thing is, I just visited the forum on the Grim Dawn home page and they seem to address my question. Apparently I *should* have access and the key they sent originally is different from the Steam key. I'll have a go at retrieving my key by measures described in the forum post.

EDIT: Turns out getting that "early access" key was much simpler than I thought. It's now in my Humble Library along with the game key for the finished version.

    Re: Question about Grim Dawn

Is Grim Dawn any good? I'm not sure whether or not to buy it.

I did give it a quick try yesterday and I like it so far. It's immediately obvious that this game comes from (more or less) the same guys that gave us Titan Quest. If you love Titan Quest, as I do, you'll probably love Grim Dawn as well. But the game is currently in an early stage. It's very playable (and fun), but still quite rough around the edges.
