    Re: Robocraft

Since reading this post, I gave the game a try - quite simple but it has a certain charm. The updates seem to be happening pretty regularly - last one appeared yesterday. I have to say I'm enjoying it - it's a nice change of pace after playing BF4. Thanks for headsup on this Macadee!
Wise old man won't you help me please? My house is a squash and a squeeze.

    Re: Robocraft

Been playing for a few days now and it is pretty good. I love building/refining my robot design.

It is a little grindy for my taste, but Free2Play is supposed to be like that - so there is nothing wrong with that.

Currently battling in Tier 3 arenas with my "contraption".

    Re: Robocraft

Stick with it, once the big guns are available, the points rack up quicker so easier to upgrade.

    Here's my current level 9 tank with10 x lvl 5S SMGs:

    Wow, that bot looks awesome!

I need to grind some more to get more armour bricks. I never seem to have enough to built what I want. In fact I already unlocked the pink L5 cubes, but can't possibly afford to buy them

It might not replace my long lost Chromehounds, or be the multiplayer Naval Ops that I've been waiting for, but that game looks damn good! That's being downloaded later by me and some friends later!!

    Thanks for sharing!!

Low tier vehicles with a huge gun and not much else are pretty fun

    Re: Robocraft

I posted about this a while back, http://forums.hexus.net/pc/319905-robocraft.html
It was ok but I lost interest.

There's a pretty big hump at tier 3 esp if you don't pay for a premium account, trying to build fliers is very tricky, managed to build a decent plasma bomber blimp but it's too slow, you really need to unlock the higher tier thrusters and flying parts to be effective.
