xb1 pad now has windows compatibility

Does anyone think its worth upgrading to this one over my wired 360 pad? Will it add anything?

I presume you don't already have an XBOX One?

Personally I wouldn't bother, it's not a significant improvement to the 360 controller.

yes you will get 10% more FPS, and your accuracy will rise about 27%

    but seriously, what's the point?

Re: xb1 pad now has windows compatibility

I was really tempted to get one to replace my 360 pad , but having to keep it plugged in is a deal breaker for me. Hopefully they make it wireless at some point.

Deal breaker is it having to be used wired. I'll keep my wireless 360 one thanks.

Re: xb1 pad now has windows compatibility

I basically would want to change it because my current 360 pad just feels kinda old and if theres a more responsive option i wouldn't mind going for it. I prefer a wired option because i game quite frequently and hate changing batteries. Is there a wired only option or would i need to buy the wireless one and keep it plugged?

I still use my wired 360 controller, wouldnt say its worth switching to the xbone controller. Both have the same purpose and feel about them.

Currently not possible on the PC, have to wait until a Wireless receiver comes out. On the other hand, the PS4 controller can be used wirelessly on the PC with a simple bluetooth adapter.

Re: xb1 pad now has windows compatibility

I thought that there'd be no point getting the XB1 controller, but after getting an XB1, the controller is much better in my opinion. Comfier, nicer triggers and the DPAD actually works 100% of the time now (AND it feels good!).
