how do you make the new exe's work? got em all patched in and all, but when I double click on em, nowt happens. Just doesn't even start loading... old ones are fine

I got them to work by making link to them on desktop seems to be the way to do it

WinRaR opened them up a treat - no problems.

is it stopped at 5% loaded?

if so you might not have patched properly

you need the 3.02 patch specific to the combined install followed by the 'common' patch

I'm wishing I hadn't bothered. No-one is playing 3.02 online, so I have to wait until the pacth stops being a beta. Which will take as long as it takes to find all the bugs and iron them out I guess.

No moby.. it does nothing... not even 5% doesn't even put the splash screen up... just fires up the HDD as if it's gonna start loading then thinks better of it. Fine with the old ones so I reckon I'll just not bother.

all simple here...

downlaoded them to desktop, theyre winrar self extracting archives and winrar fired up on double clicking the files for me...

I did :

1. double clicked the PF_patch302b_common.exe and changed the destination folder by browsing to MY current forgotten battles folder, then clicked "Install"

2. double clicked the PF_patch302bm.exe and changed the destination folder to MY current forgotten battles folder, then clicked "Install"

3. launched fb+aep+pf using the existing shortcut that I have on my desktop

4. flew around a bit trying to spot any differences

guys... the game is working fine. fully patched up and everything. BUT.. remember the new exe's we got to launch the game differently with the 3.01? it's THEM that don't work.... everything else does...

never tried using that new exe b4 I did the same as hat
