Re: Battlefield 3...Hands Free!
I played a few rounds with Jimbo this evening and whilst i was playing, the thought kept passing through my head, "i wonder if what im doing is difficult for him to copy?". I would turn round and he would be right there behind me blasting off rockets and hurdling over boxes... no idea how you manage to do what you do so seamlessly. Awesome!
Re: Battlefield 3...Hands Free!
Adaptability in the modern age will never cease to amaze me.
Just last week i was helping to bring hay bales in from a field with a farmer who suffered a brain aneurysm a few years ago, causing him to have little control over the whole right hand side of his body, limbs included. How the guy managed to drive a tractor, operate the loader on the front, and then throw bales farther than me, i shall never quite understand. He runs his farm all year round too!
James, and everyone else who has overcome problems and manages to enjoy life and 'get on with it', I salute you!

I did try signing up for the OCUK Forum a while ago, but the signup failed for some reason, & I never followed it up. Thanks for posting it on there, though :)

Cheers for gaming last night Biscuit, it was quite a laugh. Although I seemed to do more dying than inflicting damage on the other team! I think you revived me a few times though...always handy to have a medic around!
Re: Battlefield 3...Hands Free!
Wow I'm speechless. Truly inspirational, If you dont mind James I will add you in Origin as well you and I can bleed on the opposition together :)

In fairness, i think we were up against a pretty experienced opposition, we all got pretty heavily slaughtered on our side :(
Was indeed fun though. Battlefield is ALWAYS more fun when you are playing with people you know instead of randoms.
I guess it would be pretty tricky for you to join in on Teamspeak, but perhaps if we got people on there you could at least listen?

Yeah it was a bit one-sided last night. It is always better when people truly work as a team, rather than just going after frags.
I have tried using voice comms in the past, but there are a couple of problems: firstly, I obviously have my mouth-stick in my mouth, and although I can speak with it in, it's often not all that easy to hear what I'm saying, especially in the heat of battle! Secondly, I do have a headset I can use, but because I'm moving my head around whilst playing the game, it tends to work itself loose quite often! I could definitely listen in on Teamspeak, though.

I can play BF4 if you're around tomorrow? Feel free to add me on Origin :)
Re: Battlefield 3...Hands Free!
That really is astounding to watch!
It reminds me of a member of a karate class I attend. He lost both of his legs through diabetes IIRC, so our instructor comes up with modified katas/techniques, including things like involving the wheelchair as a defensive/offensive tool, and being able to self-right etc while taking into account his different centre-of-mass for instance.
