Started playing Robocraft over the weekend. Build rover with guns, blow up enemy rovers, rinse, repeat. Fairly mindless and very addictive!

Diablo3 I play it because of my friends
I've been going back and playing a few oldies from the last few years that I've missed - Started with Max Payne 3 and now im onto Devil May Cry
Been replaying my way through the Mass Effect trilogy recently, I'm up to the assault on Cerberus (just after the Citadel) in ME3 now; been my first run where I've really tried to favour renegade wherever possible - I've stopped just short of going all-out psychotic, but then it's easier to let things colour decisions when I know their implications - as well as with FemShep and I've absolutely loved it. Downloaded some texture mods to spruce up the first two games and got into a bit of coalesced editing to bypass some of the tedium (e.g. removing the needs to restock probes/fuel, slightly more ammo drops) and sort out the sketchy controls in ME2 & 3. Been brilliant, best playthrough so far and one of the best gaming experiences I've had in years as well. Hestitating slightly now, as I quite fancy playing the ME3 Omega, Citadel & Leviathan DLCs as part of this playthrough but having dropping ~£40 pre-ordering the game I don't really want to fork over another £20+ to EA for the privilege. I understand they rarely go on sale, so I might have to bite the bullet and just crack on regardless; someone on Reddit suggested watching through them on Youtube instead, which might be a last resort.
Other than that, I've just gotten around to playing Call of Juarez: Gunslinger which has been a lot of fun. Feels a bit unpolished in some regards but the gameplay is solid and it's ridiculously satisfying racking up headshot combos with a six-shooter & lever-action rifle; it's also fast-paced enough to blitz through without getting bored, so I managed to get through to the start of episode 7 last night after a few hours. Been a bit of a challenge on hard, so I can only imagine what "True West" is like. My only concern is that I've managed to rack up enough XP to unlock what seems like most of the worthwhile skills/talents, which has taken the edge off the prospect of NewGame+ slightly but we'll see - might still come back to it in the future if I get bored. Seems like it'd be quite easy to dip in & out of.
Once I've squared up with these two I'll probably be looking towards Shadow of Mordor. Still fighting the urge to snap up a pre-order copy for the equivalent of £18, or ~£25 with the Season Pass but every sensible part of me is saying to hold off until after release and guage the reviews. My inner nerdy child just wants to jump on the bandwagon though and dive in believing it'll be great. £25's not bad for a triple A + DLC but I think there've been too many disappointments lately to really justify pre-ordering anything at this stage.
destiny and i don't know why
BF4 occupies a lot of my gaming time, as it is just awesome, as was BF3 and BC2 before it.
Also playing Assassins Creed 2 as I didn't play it when it first came out, but people rave about it. Just wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
All the Batman games are great.
Watchdogs bored me withing a few hours.
BF4 does seem to fill in a lot of my time in between other games, good fun and it looks great to boot - been loving the silky-smooth frame rates since I got my 970 as well. It's the stability issues that drive me mad, I seem to crash between rounds about ~33% of the time and mid-game ~10% of the time; I rarely get more than 3 consecutive games without some sort of CTD. Seem to go through a cycle of forcing myself to put up with it, getting far too fed up and then leaving it entirely for another couple of months.
Speaking of AC though, have you tried Black Flag? Toying with the idea of picking that one up but not sure whether it's worth the £20 or if I should just hold out and see what the sales bring.
I've got black flag but really don't like it. I've just moved house and no room for a desk so no gaming until I can find an alternative![]()

Add me
Elite Dangerous in case you hadn't noticed. Loved the original and so the chance to play a modern version is too much to ignore, beta or otherwise.
Payday 2 cos
Portal 2 and Trine 2 because my friends gifted them to me.
What have you been playing?
- AC: IV
- Battlefield 3
- Dragon Age 2
- Elite Dangerous
And why?
Respectively:
Because 5 is coming soon and I generally play at least the main stories, plus I need to get over the train wreck that was AC: III...
Because it was free.
Because Inquisition is coming soon and I hate leaving story games unfinished.
Because it's BLEEPing awesome!!!
Loaded up civ iv. Nice to have a thinking game after fps sandbox games.
Dipped back into world of tanks, not sure exactly why, probably because I've been watching too much of quickybaby and the mighty jingles, also still have a couple of k of unspent gold from my pre-order beta pack.
Also I've finially installed simcity (the 2013 one) I finally got it when they opened up offline single player and mods but never actually installed it.

GT6, because I don't get much gaming time, but because it's been ages since I played it, I had to do 2gb of updates before I could play it, and by the time that was done, my playing window was shut. Seeing it on the screen made me want to get back into it again though...
Edit: Whoops, didn't realise this was in the PC section. On PC, I have not been playing at all...

Alien Isolation, because well, I'm still waiting for a decent Alien-film-based game, and because it seems to be genuinely creepy. Reminds me a lot of the first Dead Space, at least when going around empty environments. Been off PC gaming for a while, but glad to make a return!
