Counter Strike: Global Offensive
There was a time when I really liked Counter Strike: Source, I was never any good at it, but I used to enjoy it and then it started getting too hardcore and I usually ended up being the first casualty in every round. I have recently started to miss playing CS:S so I was wondering if it's worth getting it? Does anyone on here think it is worth getting or is it still a case of people yelling n00b when they kill you and hacker when you kill them?
Re: Counter Strike: Global Offensive
Using my experience of CS:go, its a good game, fun, has a lot of game modes. I also enjoyed the competitive mode quite a lot. The community can vary, as in all games, some being childish and annoying but the majority being friendly. I usually play with friends though so my opinion on the community isn't wholly accurate.
The big thing about CS:go is that I find it a lot harder than CS:S. I struggled a lot at first, especially with the recoils, compared to CS:S.
If you enjoy CS:S, go back to it, I still find games on it.
Re: Counter Strike: Global Offensive
There is a really cool video on how to master recoil in CS:GO, it might be worth checking it out. If you are saying it is worth the investment, despite being a harder game to master then I might give it a go, I have a key for it and have been debating whether I should use it or sell it?

Yes the game is worth getting. It feels like a good fps and is frequently updated.

I decided to give it a go and used my activation key, it's only a 4gb download so it didn't take long, played through the tutorial, I even got a 5 Year Veteran Coin for having been a member (not very active lol) of the Counter Strike Community for 5 years plus I got a badge drop while I was playing. The menus look like they have the same features as before and the number of maps available has increased with some new maps and some of my old favourites like Dust II.
I want to try out the tutorial on mastering recoil before I play this online as I think it would help.
Re: Counter Strike: Global Offensive
I suggest playing games in casual. They are as good as the tutorial in terms of practising recoil tbh, and it gives you time to get a feel for the game.
