    Payday 2 Game night?

I picked up Payday 2 this weekend on Steam and it looks like it could be a laugh as a multi player cops and robbers type thing (as far as I can see its AI cops and Human robbers in the same sort of vein as Left for Dead)

Its 23 quid on steam although I think KeyboardDemon got if for a tenner or so on the bay of fleas

    Isn't salad what food eats??

it can be a lot of fun if you're all working as a team, can be hard when you're low ranked and haven't unlocked good perks/weapons. 4 players max though

    Re: Payday 2 Game night?

If you haven't already, I encourage you all to join the payday 2 official group.
    http://steamcommunity.com/games/218620
The more members it gains before I believe 18th of October, the more free stuff will be released, as well as the benefits you gain from joining it anyway, such as a free mask and guns etc
The progress of the membership event can be found here
    http://www.overkillsoftware.com/crimefest/
Even if you don't play PD2, it would be really good if you joined it

Lol, I'll join then, I'm still undecided as to whether or not I should get the game though.

    Re: Payday 2 Game night?

Ive got 99 hours on it according to steam, feels like more, and what I can say is I've enjoyed the majority of it.
Why the majority and not everything? Because it can get frustrating in co-op if you are trying to stealth a mission, making great success of it and then your mate accidentally throws a grenade. Believe it or not that's happened 3 times now
I would say the dlcs are needed to get full enjoyment, the big bank dlc being a really good heist.
The missions are tons of fun, the community is great and you get to wear badass masks robbing banks
    So I recommend it thoroughly

    Re: Payday 2 Game night?

I swapped a Humble Bundle game I already had with a friend that had an unused Payday 2 key, so I'll download it when I get home tonight.

    Re: Payday 2 Game night?

    Thats a pretty good guide
I would recommend early on you should spec into mastermind or ghost, the perks are very good.
Once you've nailed shadow raid you can get a steady flow of money to respec if you want
If you want XP, firestarter, watchdogs or rats are the best
I can help with any missions you want to do, just add me on steam
    mynameissi12
One thing though, if we do framing frame, there's a risk I will commit suicide halfway through day 3
