Best wireless Gaming Headset for PC gaming?

Currently torn between the Logitech G930
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Wir...dsets+wireless

    and Corsair Vengeance 2100
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CA-9...dsets+wireless

Which of these two would you choose and why?
Any other suggestion for a wireless gaming headset under £100

    Best regards
    AJ

Corsair vengeance. Linus did a review and having owned Logitech having cans before they sound flabby and not as good as the competition. I can't really comment on either of these models from personal experience, however.

I have the g930 and think the sound quality is excellent (personally I doubt the corsair will match the logitech in mic and general sound quality). My only problem is my ears get a little warm after an hour or so but I guess that's a problem with all these headsets.

This is the problem with sound - it comes down to personal preference. What sounds good to me, may very well sound bad to you.

It's best to try them and send them back if you don't like them.

    Thanks for the replies.

I was hoping for a outright winner, but it seems they are a closely matched. I guess the Logitech pulls ahead slightly as its currently less the £70 on ebay at the mo.

I have the wired version of the Corsair (1500) and they are awesome. Great surround sound, lots of depth and very comfortable.

Re: Best wireless Gaming Headset for PC gaming?

Just over a year ago I was looking for a gaming headset but while doing my research I found that they were underwhelming when used for other tasks - like listening to music or anything with quality sound files. That's why I ended getting Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO 80 OHM. They are phenomenal when listening to music or watching a film. With software they have good positional sound for shooter games and help to create those epic moments in games. I then used a webcam attached to my monitor as a microphone, which helped reduce the weight on my head.

As games compress sound files to conserve space if you only use headphones for games then the DT770 are overkill but if you enjoy music then it's worth paying that bit more for.
