    Titanfall (PC) Multiplayer origin title.

    Hey all

I bought this game after trying the 2 day demo on Origin, and have to say that it's great fun. It's a bit of a twitch FPS and contains climb/walljump/freerun characteristics (spend time roof to roofing a level ... ), as well as the customary weapons with upgrades as you play and titans with silly animations and even sillier weapons and shields.

It's a bit of a marvel, I've been gaming since a long time and this is one that really stands out for me. I think I'd place it up there with the likes of Quake 1 (quakeworld) CTF / grappling as to how much fun it is.

Update 8 has just come out for it so it's also being heavily supported, it's going to be the first in a franchise and is also on console so it's had quite a lot of investment - and I can tell.

Massively fun game for those who can play it. Something the developers really nailed down was having an aim-for-me weapon (the smart pistol) that's a great way for newer players to level up, but not really overpowered since it's so well thought out once you get to the last few weapons you get an itch to try something that doesn't aim for you and you could switch to a more standard FPS weapon. I have to say though, I've tried a lot of FPS, they remind me of the quake 3 bazooka which is no bad thing at all.

The titans are so fun - you can call one and have it guard a spot or follow you around, you don't need to get in it and control it necessarily.

They should have thought twice before adding some of the duke nukem 3d style shops and wall signs though!

Did anyone else pick it up this year?

Yeah, my friend and I grabbed it when it was on sale, and the Co-Op mode added in U8 is insane if you've got friends. I've found it a great, High-adrenaline FPS. My only quarrel with it is a slight one, and that is the lack of weapons.

I've seen a few videos on the new co-op mode, but I've yet to actually play it. Can you tell me what makes it "insane"?
