As the other ED thread has grown to 30+ pages and it's release day tomorrow I thought I would comb the thread and try to collate some helpful information, Commander names etc. and put them in 1 place for people to refer to.

If you want anything adding to the list please post and I will stick it in this post so it is easier to find and refer to.

As I have just scraped the previous thread if you don't want your Commander name in the list let me know and I will remove ASAP (also apologies to anyone if I missed them).

The hyperspace routes link has not been updated to include anything at least outside The Pill, if not outside the initial Beta systems.

It Chooses faster routes than the in game planner.

NB: The in game navigation pane doesn't always show all possible jump locations and you have to use the galactic map if the jump point isn't shown on the navigation pane.

NOTE: This changes the radar as well, so you can end up with some weird colours for enemies and friendlies. However, in my Clipper, I couldn't read half the right screen sometimes when it was orange; that and there are a lot of orange stars...

Only started playing tonight so I'm pootling round in my sidewinder. Already re-mapped the 'boost' key after I needed to be scraped off the side of a space station and only one sun has burnt me alive.

Anyone know when the next stage of the community warzone starts?

The clipper is being pretty heavily discounted in the NU System - Syromyatnikov Station. It's here for 15,5million instead of 22, you need Empire rank of Baron or higher.

I've started playing again and I will probably be on around 7 onwards. I've sold my clipper to buy a vulture as its much better imho.

Why the hell have they stopped doing warzone community goals?

Don't think they have, just there aren't any at the moment. Have you tried power play, there's effectively active warzones with the relevant factions who use combat for expansion.

I've been searching for community war zones for over some time and there haven't been any in ages. I've tried powerplay and its just not rewarding at all. You get one power token for every ship you kill regardless of the fact if its an anaconda or a viper and the rank bonus thing reset every week so the payout is crap.

Nevermind I found an adequate warzone and made like 120k in like 10minutes.

Or, go undermining. Find a system that's 'owned' by another faction that's not linked to yours (so don't go bashing another Empire power if you're broadly Empire etc) and look for the Power's ships running operations in the system. Interdict and destroy - 15 merits per kill. The downside is you'll end up with a bounty yourself...
