    3rd party XBOX-360 wireless receivers

I've had my eye on the Microsoft XBox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows for a while (esp as I have a controller lying around) but haven't seen it below £30 yet. Then I thought of Fleabay and saw a number for ~£5/7 (with no controller, unlike the official package). There's plenty of bad reviews of them on the jungle site, such as the driver disappearing off the system and continually having to be reinstalled, and suchlike.

I'm tempted to take a gamble but has anyone here tried them?

Ha, I can't believe I missed that! Thanks for alerting me. And £22 for receiver and controller... sheesh, if I could get that price I wouldn't even bother to look at anything else!

Turns out the £14 is a fake according to the reviews. So a highly-marked-up version of the other Chinese copies!

Depends from whom you buy it.

I'm sure the one fulfilled by Amazon is real. Well, it should be.

I've ordered it so we shall see. Not got my controllers until after Christmas, so a bit of a wait to find out how well it functions!

For what it's worth, I've got a knockoff one and it works just fine. Buyer beware and all that, but they're not universally terrible.

I bought the real one and it's working very well. Just wish Microsoft would put a motion sensor in their controller like the PS4 has!
