OCUK forum guys are VPN to Brazil & using "Nuuvem" to get the key for £21. I couldnt be botherd with the hassle & bought it from CJS for £31.50 as I think I'll get my moneys worth.

I see you have to set up RockStar social club for you're user name & thats where you load in for 16 man co-op bank jobs & such...

I done my preloaded last night. Took my pc up to my brothers as he has VM 100meg download speed. Took about 2 hours to download. If i done it at mine with 6m download, it would takes days. Roll on Tuesday.

Preloading mine now though I'm having to use a MEGA version, rockstar downloader appears to be horribly broken and GamersGate dont provide a steam version. Plan us to dub in the archives and let the rockstar downloader download the smaller exe files and configs etc.

I found the server speed pretty slow when I was downloading (at one point it was only doing 15KB/s!) and had to restart it a few times. Over all it took me about 4 hours. I don't know why Rockstar didn't just release the files in archive format. P2P would have solved so many of the server speed issues. I know they're worried about piracy but... come on. Who would pirate GTA V anyway? Even with a crack there would be no way to use GTA Online, which is surely half the fun of having GTA V.

Anyone know how its going to work with Steam & R*SC !

I've been looking around the web but couldn't find anything. When you click to play on Steam it comes up with a Box to ether click Play Single or Play Online, will it redirect you to R*SC ?

Also how's it gonna work regarding the money for Pre-orders via Steam.

Anyone else found that CJS Keys arent forth-coming with giving you're money back ?


I did ask this in the OCUK forums & after reading all the "Pointless" posts of "I'm getting this speed for the preload (IE Look at me, I have a large bag with two balls in & a fleshy thing that hangs down on my forhead)" & other useless idots comments I gave up ! This is one thing I like about this Forum, a point to a post & not post count ! Rant over.... Grrr

The only game I have with RSSC is Max Payne 3. That did force you through RSSC even when launching via steam, so I expect the same.

Hopefully, GTAV will launch afterwards, MP3 has always crashed to desktop after logging into RSSC for me :S

I am looking forward to it, a change from BF4 for me. I can't seem to get hooked with any other games so this should grab me...

I hope your driving is up to scratch Shaithis, if its like BF4 then you'll get down graded when the misson is over lol.

I did read that there is more trafic with the PC game, the Console I guess was held back so it should be harder ?

Careful if you buy this on Steam, Its 59gb download & then it needs another 65gb to unpack it ! Had to delete another 15gb on my games SSD to get it finished

EDIT - This is only affects the Pre-Order. Buy now it should be fine...
