Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
I believe I read somewhere that top end GPU's in a single card configuration will get 1080p with all graphics set to max @ 60fps, run top end cards in SLI/Crossfire and you'll get 4k with max settings. Don't quote me on that though... Plus I'm not clued up enough to know if the 970 is what is considered "top end" in this case.
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
Oh, and a slight change to the daily rewards earlier posted (I misread), the rewards for doing 10, 20, 50 and 100 are not for days of doing dailies, they are for the objectives. Since you do 3 objectives per day, it will take you 33 days to get the 100 daily objective bonus. So even better! :)
I am currently sitting at 18/28 days I think for the $500k reward, already got my 50 objective reward giving me $50k.
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
@Biscuit thanks to this thread I'm really not sure how much longer I can wait for the AMD 300 series... This game at 60 FPS looks awesome!
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
My new 970 ftw arrived at lunch. Dashed home and installed it. Overclocked my TV to 66hz and cracked everything to max bar msaa to x4. Turned on mfaa in control panel. Games stays locked at 66fps.. That can't be right. Is mfaa working? That's insane is correct!
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
Yeah 1080p
With 1450mhz boost. Didn't have time to test anything else.
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
Are you testing day or night?
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
Very good point! I was testing day time in the jet and driving.
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
Night time is much more taxing annoyingly, at least, apparently.
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
I had a script on there to alow me to run it with the Intel 4000 while I was waiting for delivery. I wonder if there is something left over which is letting it run that well (I.e reduced traffic). I'll check more tonight when I have more time.
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
I thought it was day time that was more taxing due to draw distances being increased
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
At night you don't need as much AA for some reason.
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
Moving from my monitor to the oled is a graphics card upgrade in itself. It's looks phenomenal, it's the biggest jump I've seen since SD to HD. It makes more a visual difference (to me thann 4k).
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
You have an oled tv??? Which one? I didn't think they were out yet
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
I only recently got it. Factory refurb with five year warrenty for £1k. It's the LG 55ea9800.
I recommend it above all over upgrades. Even people who have no clue about tech are blow away by the picture quality.
Re: GTA V Discussion thread!
I'm waiting for OLED monitors!
