Well Witchers are sterile after the trial of grasses ;)
Fair points, which my wife also agrees with and she also prefers the Bioware style for the same reasons.
I don't, because the Bioware approach is too over-the-top in some ways for me - it's a bit too formulaic and obvious. Much of the Witcher series is more muted emotionally, but there are some very subtle shades in there that I appreciate, and when it does pull something emotional out of the bag the impact is all the more for it being against a bleaker backdrop.
You will know if you've come across this scene for example:

Just look at the emotion in that face. And that's just one of many.
Hands down the best game I've ever played, the music, art, voice acting, quests and story - plus CDPR being awesome and giving out tons of free content - everything is borderline perfect.
Each edition of the 'Witcher' has been significant improvement upon the previous edition and W1 starting point, was pretty good against its peers of the day.
I really enjoyed it, can anyone recommend a similar game? Im looking for a new game to get stuck into.
dragon age inquisition, skyrim, fo4
+ for Dragon Age, not just inquisition but the series imho. Spent days playing through those and thoroughly enjoyed
