    Unhappy LOMAC clouds

I don't know if changing any options will change this porblem (I have been trying) .....

When flying over clouds they look rubbish despite everything looking great below them/in them etc. I haven't got a screenshot of it, buit they look quite jagged. Is this an issue with AA? I'm running the cat 4.11's and running my X800 on max quality settings.

Framerates suffer a little when flying low over burning bits, but on the whole having the game set at max resolution doesn't cause me any problems.

Is there anything anyone can suggest to sort the problem of the jagged clouds - I like them much more when they're fluffy!

    Cheers again.

Do you mean flying over an overcast layer? When you're low over an overcast layer of clouds you get the IL-2 forest effect, where it looks like there are many images on top of each other (because there are).
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

Yup - that's it, I did think that it bore a striking resemblance to the forests of IL2 .... guess it is working as it ought to.

    Cheers for setting me straight.
