    Artificial Intelligence

o Computer piloted airplanes fly with the same performance and flight characteristics the player flies with, for a precise, historically accurate offline experience

o "RealPilot" Artificial Intelligence Technology means enemy aircraft have the same limitations the player has

o Both the player and the enemy can use the clouds for safety and cover

o Study and exploit the enemy's weaknesses with charts included in the printed pilot's manual

o Enemy aircraft have the same characteristics and performance as the player's aircraft, including actual joystick movements

    Sounds impressive with these too

hmmm - I reckon I'll wait and see. Promises much! I guess it depends on how realistic they get the flight dynamics - and that'll depend on who they've got developing this thing, and who they consult.

It'll be direct competition for the Battle of Britain game being developed by Oleg Maddox and Ubisoft.

    Some interesting discussion here ~

With this, and work on Jet Thunder progressing slowly but surely (I recommend you check out their latest vid), and a couple of other sims (can't remember the URL's, but one is a deatailed F-16/F-5 Tiger sim and a WWI sim) it seems the flight sim cummunity in general might be climbing out of it's hole. Although these are all projects undertaken by relatively small development teams.

Now I must apologise before this rant begins and its dedicated to Gary from Men Behaving Badly, who was also faced with someone who used "like" in the middle of sentences

"Like? Do you mean 'similar too' or are you just being working class?"

It's the old Rowan BoB with some severe upgrades from the BoB/MA Development Group & shockwave (who are also revamping B-17 II).
As such it will have very different strengths from the Il-2 series but will be less demanding hardware wise.

Then theres LOMAC which is second best...
