I'm hoping to get an effectively free game via selling off trading cards. I've made about 19p today from the winter sale cards, maybe in another week I might have an extra £1 :P
I have £2.14 in my steam wallet LETS DO THIS!
Dag nammit! Tother half really wanted Skyrim so I gave her her Steam gift card Christmas present early and we forked out £20 for it 2 days ago. Don't think she's spent very long on it yet so may see if we can get it refunded and buy again.
Anyone else get an email about things on their wishlist being in the sale? Anyone else look at the things it says are on their wishlist and think "what on earth is THAT and why is it on my wishlist..."?
Just me then? :embarrassed: :innocent:
Mine has Titan Quest: Immortal Throne, which is understandable as I played the demo of Titan Quest and quite enjoyed it (actually, just spotted that TQ Gold Edition is also on sale :D). But the other one was Nexus: The Jupiter Incident :O_o1:
OTOH, I've promised to install and play every game in my Steam library at least once before buying anything new ... so I guess I know what I'm doing over the Christmas holidays :D
A good approach to have; at the moment I have a 23% completion rate lol. I'm half tempted by this though:

It's pricey for what it is though, I'll probably wait for 75%-90% off.
I am not even going to look. I have no self control.
I was hoping for better deals... But I still bought FO: New Vegas, Saints Row 4.
I'll save money for future sales.
Preferred it when they had flash deals every day..though i did end up buying a few games with my Chrimbo cash. (The Long Dark, and various dungeon crawlers.)
Let us know how you get on with the Long Dark, was on the other half's short list but as we went for Dying Light we thought it was too many survival games at once!
Oh and we did get the money back and buy the game again, good job she's only managed an hour on Skyrim that evening!
No idea how it happened, but my plan to rebuild an old gaming rig just after Christmas so I'd have time to play through my outstanding Steam games turned into throwing together a ghetto water-cooling loop at around 8pm last night, only for it to fail leak testing! I haven't even had time to install the Steam client, let alone any games.... :O_o1:
