Thats kind mate - but I aspire to this stuff, its a learning process and I'm determined to get there.

This guy has reached this standard in 10 years, his work when he started was so average you wouldn't even notice it - but he's got to this standard with practice and patience, and I'd love to get there too.

Anyway - I've just picked up a bargain Mig-29 in 1/32 scale (same scale as above Su-27) so watch this space

Yes he's good all right, and mostly 1/16 scale (envious about that). I too have returned to scale modelling after a 10 or so year hiatus (1/35th scale German armour is my favourite) I am currently working on a diorama of a half track/mortar/anti tank gun emplacement in Germay late in '44.

I seem to have trouble staying off the pc to carry on with this project but it is still advancing albeit rather slowly.

    Hi there ,

Noob to this part of the forum but I used to be a very keen model maker. He's pretty damn good, miles better than what I used to be and his painting & aibrushing technique is something to die for.

Just a shame that as far his planes go he only seems to do jets, WWII aircraft are my favourites, with P51's & FW190's being top of my list.

I was clearing out my stuff from my parents attic a few moths ago and I seem to have amassed around £3-400 worth of unmade model kits. Some are 15 years old or more and untouched. I also found a really rare PP Areoparts update kit for the Hawker Sea Fury, you can't buy it anymore so I wonder how much that would be worth now.

Skii, have you got any links to models you've built as I'd be really interested to see.

Skii you are easily as good, if not better, than the guy you posted links too. Getting the ejection seat to look so good without the aid of a resin set takes some talent. I'm a million miles away from that kind of skill.

The king tiger is pretty sweet too, I just wish I had the time to make models these days.
