I have changed my professions from herbalism and alchemy to enchanting and mining just so everyone knows. And Mattak, I think I want beastslaying on my weapon.
I will talk to you when I can start playing again (stupid electron visa card).
And tell me when you can do demonslaying,unholy enchant, or the crusader enchant.
Those r the 3 best enchants in the game right now!

Isadrel is now a lvl 225 Tailor, and is able to make the 12-slot Mageweave bags (amongst other stuff), I dare say with people throwing me stuff as soon as I hit level 35 I'll be able to get to 260 fairly quickly and make those nice 14 slot Runecloth Bags

I think the 18 Slot Bottomless Bags will have to wait until I'm up to level 60 (requires a *hell* of a lot of components, and a skill lvl of 315!)

I think you'll find skinning and leatherworking much easier than mining and enchanting

Isn't the max 300? Or is there a specail item you can get that gives you +15 to taloiring skill? (like the dagger than lets you skin lvl 62's)

I thought the dagger only gives you a +10, so you have a 310 skinning skill. Divide that by 5 and you can skin lvl 62's.

Which would make the max 310, not 315? Perhaps that's what Stoo meant, or he was over exaggerating!

The max is 300 without any + values. There is no maximum to the number of + skills you can get. You often see +defence on good plate armor especially, you can have one person wearing a +15 defence, +9 defence, and a +4 defence item, and for a level 60 (with defence 300/300) this would give them 328 defence.

Fair enough, but since the highest level mobs are lvl 62 what's the point of having skinning higher than 310?

Actually, you need 315 skinning for at least one mob - Azuregos, and maybe others.

But that would mean his level is 63? I thought the max level was 62?

Apparently not. He is definitely 315 to skin, as I have done it.
