older game question with new hardware

    hi

im not sure if its my GPU, CPU etc, but i've recently installed Batman arkham city and knight to play through again. downloaded from steam so it seems to have kept most of the stuff i earned before.

however, it was fine, but i got to the mr freeze sequence in the ice lounge on city and also just before in the city flying around, and the game freezes mid move fairly regularly.

do you think its a pc problem of driver issue with that game?

    mr pc:

    core i7 6700k
    16 gig of ram
    SSD main drive
    SSD/hdd game drives
    GTX 1080 TI

Re: older game question with new hardware

most likely a driver issue, and it's gonna be tough to find the solution.

Sound drivers often cause glitches so if there are audio options, change them in game.

then it's a case of fiddling with the graphics options.
