Well, I have an alliance char or two, but the guild is Horde only.

And I doubt you'll see anyone in the IRC channel, if we have any spare time we're playing!

In wow you can get all the skills, just buy them all as you can and then play with them to find what works best for you

With my Undead Rogue I found that getting skinning and leatherworking have suited my char pretty well. I make nearly all my own eq now and most of it is pretty good. Also, you can make quite a bit of money from it!

As for skills, get all that you can. Each even level (2, 4, 6, etc) you reach there will be new skills available at the Rogue trainer and you really should get all of them if possible, and make use of them. I found an excellent tutorial on how to fight with rogues and went from struggling to kill same level chars to owning +2 level chars.

The rogue is a very powerful character if you can play it well, sometime i can kill beasts the same level as me and take no damage at all (Cheap Shot (4 sec stun, gives 2 combo points, not broken with damage) as an opener, biuld 3 more combo points with Sinister Strike, Vanish/Gouge (Vanish enters me into sleath mode while in combat/Gouge is a 5.5 sec stun that is broken by damage) wait for energy to restore and Eviserate finishing move.
