    Make sure you get a compatible motherboard and at least dual channel 2400MHZ DDR4. Faster RAM helps with APUs.

    2200g also needsa motherboard thats had a certain level update if you go for an older one. AMD offer bootkits if the bios is too old.

    Ask the retailer you buy from if they can update your bios for you.

    Some boards on Amazon come ready out of the box for the cpu.

    You will need to order an AMD boot kit if the system doesn't boot with the new CPU. You're manufacturer will have the guide and bios update on their website.

    From what i read online the AMD boot kit method takes a lot of time and back and forth correspondences. If you can't wait for it, a quicker way would be to find local shops that can do the update for you. A friend of mine did it for 15 pounds a few weeks ago.
