Lvl15 Claymore but crossbows? and scope?:) - many questions inside

Hi,
I've now got a 2 handed Claymore and it rocks, huge damage and looks ace however I also want to get a crossbow to increase my crossbow skill but I cant find any in Thunder Bluff or Ogrimmar, I did see them in the undercity so is this the only place to sell them?

Also I believe I can get a scope for my rifle but again I cant find any unless you learn the engineering skill, I had a look at the auction house but no joy there any ideas where I can get the above?

Im going to unlearn skinning and leatherworking for Mining and Blacksmithing as these seem really profitable to me but is Engineering any good, it looks cool with what you can make?

Engineering ahs some good toys but mostly they can only be used by engineers, so it's not a prfession that will make you a lot of money. The guild is short of blacksmiths at the moment, and thats where the money is!

blacksmiths dont make that much money u know

yeah i was a blacksmith but changed as it doesn't make that much money at all. IF you want money then go for something like skinner and mining so you can sell all you materials to venders, AH or guild members. I got 50s for 20 bronze bars yesterday in the AH and ive heard of people gettin 1g for them. ive swapped mining now so im just leather and skinning. IM a warrior so i cant use anythin i make but it sells ok still

Yeah I see what you mean now, ah well I had skinning of 124 so I guess Ill have to go back to it, tbh I find I make more money anyway from base raping quests youve already done, like the dwarf camp or red rocks near thunder bluff Il try and find some human like settlements near the barrens and go and bash them if I need cash

when you get to high enough LW lvl you can make mail armour
