Fellow hunters , in the Blizz hunter forum , a humongus number of hunters is/was whining about the nerfing of the hunter class in the next patch , but a couple a days ago , some hunters where invited by Blizz to do a test on the DPS output of the hunter , so they created a teste server , the results of this test can be found on thid tread :

Having read the thread which contains an awful lot of crap.
I thought i'd paste the only decent info in there here....
Test server:
283 agi
312 Ranged attack
712 Power
224-277 Damage
2.21 Attack speed
113.2 dps
Tich same equip:
283 agi
312 Ranged attack
712 Power
192-244 Damage (*)
1.96 Attack speed (*)
111.3 dps (*)
I.E you've gained 1.9 DPS!. hardly a nerf... hhehe

This got me worried I cant see the site from work but Im just doing a hunter now, Im lvl 6 already after one night but does this mean they are ruined? I can tigs post so I assume not............

After navigating around the crap ,that is in this tread , we can see with some degree of certainty , that there wont be a nerf.
So the whining about , was uncalled for ...
The hunter is still the PVE God :rockon:
180º turn on the nerf thingy , Blizz updated the DPS on the ammo to "hide" the DPS nerfing of the hunter.

Its not a deliberate nerf tho, I've just finished reading the 6 pages, and have to add over those 6 pages about 2 people where worth listening to. The lack of blue posts on the subject is also very poor.
But its "nerf" is down to the quivers giving 21.5% speed increase not 13.5% as they should. This will only affect high levels as you can't get that quiver for ages. And i think you will likely find the Damage per second bows/guns you will now find will be slightly higher than before to compensate.
Still don't think its a nerf tho.

Its not a nerf , its more of a bug fix , and even if the hunters lose some dps...
the 1º role of the hunter isnt beeing a DPS dealer , but beeing a CC and a top notch puller , so if we loose some dps , that wont be the end of the world.
