    What an adventure that was.....

Our intrepid adventurers set out last night with a mission to obtain the frost oil reciepe. We had heard rumours of a great potion capable of delivering the essence of frost to be harnessed for reciepes of great power. However it was a small goblin who had this reciepe was trapped in the Altarec Mountains, deep in Ogre territory.

So our adventurers went with the task to get this reciepe and bring it back for the good of the horde. All was going well until our adventurers realised that the guards outside were level 35/36. Not that bad after we learnt how the deal with them, they fell with realtive ease, as we drew closer however we could see these guards had become much harder and where now lvl 35-38 elite. The 3 adventurers at ~lvl 34 began to feel rather out of their depth and snuck round corners till they could see their objective.

High up on the ramparts was our goblin friend, all that stood between us and that reciepe was three lvl 38 elite ogres, one being a mage. So the three prepared themselves, gathered their strength, and planned their attack. After a fierce battle the first Ogre was downed. All had come through the attack alive, and cheered with glory. This was short lived as the Mage instantly aggro'd and started attacking. Mustering the strength remaining the three slaughted the mage and breathed a sigh of relief.

However the team looked in horror as the third elite begin to chase one of the team, the others began to hit the ogre time after time, while one of the group began to run rings around the stupid ogre, consistently running up the stairs onto the ramparts and jumping down again, causing the stupid ogre to turn around run back down the stairs giving chance to rest and heal.

3 minutes later and our 3rd dead ogre later our path cleared and all feeling good, we walked up the stairs to find the goblin had been robbed by some level 40 night elves how had arrived 10 minutes earlier.

Dejected our adventurers walk off and go and kill some Yeti's for fun. satisfying their blood lust, one of the group departs and then there was two. A short time later, a wandering warrior joined the party. Again the group went through and hacked and slashed their way through the ogres, only to find our vendor still scribing away at the replacement reciepe.

Come back in a few hours he replies as he finishes the line. Depressed the three wander off, wondering if they will ever be able to harness frost oil. In a last desperate attempt in the middle of the night the shaman turns into ghost wolf and sneaks through the now blind ogre's standing around in the darkness, round the corner up the stairs, and the reciepe is sitting their completed.

The shaman then jumps down over the ramparts to his waiting allies below, a job well done and the hexus horde happy with their new supply of frost oil

Thanks to Pug, Azog and GreenPiggy in this story

Nice story. Couldn't have said it better. But it should be me saying thanks to Lummie, Azog and GreenPiggy for taking time out from questing to let me get this recipe.

Lets put this recipe into perspective. Its available from 1 (one) person. Bro'kin. Its on a timer, from what most people say its on a 1 hour turnaround. Its also very popular, we were surrounded by alliance trying to get the same recipe. Its also surrounded by lvl36/38 elites. Or you can try and do what me and Azog tried, and thats to go straight through the camp. Only to find level 39/40 Elites. No thanks, we went round.

But the upside. It sells very well on AH. I've never seen any posted on AH so for a laugh i put a buyout of 3G on one. It sold So if anyone needs a Frost Oil just ask. I have some left in the bank. The fee will be reasonable, just don't be put off by the AH prices, i won't charge you anywhere near that sort of figure.
