Reason I queried it was that I'd boot up PC, then open Steam to log in and only realise I had no internet because it was subsequently offering me Offline Mode.

That was last around 2011, though, so I'll try and remember to test this next time I use Steam, see if they've changed it.

Whilst I trial other launchers, I'm really happy with Steam. But haven't seen a "must have" game elsewhere yet...

For DoB I now approximate, though no doubt it's out there on Ancestry courtesy of some relative or other. That's a bit of a pain for releasing details! As is the census list.
