I remember an incident during the beta test. I was getting my butt kicked by a same level murloc (i think), it had spawned next to me while fighting something else, i was close to death when a fireball Obliterated my foe. My guardian angel never stopped, he just went off carrying on as if nothing had happened. From that point on i vowed that i would give anyone a helping fireball or 2.

I think i have been spoilt by playing in beta with TiG & Vimeous, and now playing with guild members. Being in a group there is always someone keeping an eye open so the problem of being outnumbered or overpowered is something we don't come accross much.

Monkey, I figured that you did mean that you were just reporting back GOOD PR from your experience which is Ace, which is my response was no where near the flame it turned into on my 3 previous attempts at writign it.

In my experience i've had a great time as horde. I can't buff as any of my chars, but i've healed more than enough ppl with my shaman.

The other thing I would add, is that some people HATE people interfering with their killings. And Again this isn't a Dig at you allen, but i believe you don't want anyone helping if you are fighting enemies.

So being too helpful can also be a problem. Its all down to personal preferences. I prefer to ask for help, than get it without asking. But then again I pride myself in ability to solo.

One other thing I would suggest is that if you are having problems solo'ing, there are things you may be missing to help "win" the battles you are currently losing.

I'd prefer to help you raise your ability to solo so you feel you can continue on your own, rather than constantly rely on groups.

Again just the way i look at it, and i perfectly understand some people prefer to group as there is more enjoyment. I agree there is, but then again i love the challenge of solo'ing and pushing my own playing ability to the absolute limit.

Anyone soloing the Endurance Challenge in 1K needles will appreciate that comment

    Haha, I don't remember that one, I don't think I did it.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

This game is all about TEAMWORK, the rest is a sideshow. That's why it isn't a single player game.
It's when people are sh**ty to each other that people will loose interest in the guild/game. Together we can have fun.

Its easy to have fun and co-op. I was around the xr yesterday when someone shouted out for help with a quest, so off we went, finished the quest, had a nice chat and then I sold him some armour for a dirt cheap price. It deffo happens, although you have to find the right people to quest with.
    Not around too often!

I love playing alliance on a PvP. But as its PvP i have try to not get really annoyed by being 'ganked' by lvl ?? Horde members.

Having said that I have had lots of help and help out when I can, mostly with a quick splash of heal or a swing of hte axe as I run past.

Mostly get a thanks on the chat.

It's no surprise - it's just like in CS, on public servers the Counter-Terrorists always used to be more organised than the Terrorists.
The people who choose baddies choose them for a reason!

I have a couple of alliance chars, nothing special though. Highest is a lvl 12 Night Elf Hunter. Have a Human Paladin and a Dwarf Warrior too.

I tend to help out here and there if someone is obviously in trouble, and in return I've had quite a few free buffs and the odd pile of bandages as payment

Normally i like to play solo ( im an harcore RPG single player , so it takes time to adjust to the reality of co-op) , but when some fellow player (horde or not) is in trouble , i send my pet along with some well aimed arrows.

Just yesterday in ashenvale , i saw a NE hunter lvl 25 fighting the blue hipogrifh ( dont recall the name ) lvl 31 that is part of the ashenvale hunt quest , he was in a lot of trouble , is pet was dead and is health bar was coming down fast , so i sent my pet to get the aggro from the mob , wackim with some well placed arrows , and the big blue went down , after that the NE hunter salute me , and i salute back.

Thats the beauty of this game...
