Epic Store Free Games

Either way, I'm loving my playtime on Battlefront and I was wondering what the game-play for Galactic Civilizations is like? Is it similar to the Civ franchise? Apologies, that this could be answered by downloading and trying the free game, but my internet speed isn't the best and most games these days demand vast amounts of hard drive space.

Similar to Civ franchise in that it's a 4x game, but gameplay is planetary and fleet management instead of City. It was fun when I played it, although I played with a number of expansions, so not sure what the base game is like anymore.

Me too I've got a list of games to play as long as the great wall of china. When I do finally retire in years to come I will definitely have something to do with all my spare time

If that £10 voucher is still valid from the last promotion, there's a game or 2 on that list I might consider actually buying, depending on the discount.

I bought Airborne Kingdom on the last voucher offer. Sadly my laptop isn't up to the job the more I expanded, but what I did get to play was quite fun.

This game was fun, I got the original and Lightspeed Edition (this), and I've completed Lightspeed.

Also, RAGE 2 is next? I've wanted to play that for a while!

Rage 2 is pretty good, I really enjoyed it. Though even though my system is well specced for it I had some weird slowdowns when driving along the roads

Ah great. I just saw Rage come up cheap on steam. Free is better than cheap though! Nice one Epic! 🙂

For anyone interested. Nothing particularly special about the Twitch stream, I thought it was going to be a bit more than just a train of adverts and pre-recorded scripted nonsense.
I couldn't be bothered to sit through it all when it became clear they were just going to talk like AI/robots.
