Apparently Fallout 3 GOTY and Evoland Legendary edition will be free from the 20th to the 27th.
I was about to buy F3 on steam to play on my deck so I'm very happy!

Good man, can only imagine the challenges playing on a laptop and everything you have been through.
My daughters laptop got so hot it actually fried something on the mainboard.

Yeah was certainly challenging, with 'chemo brain' it made it hard to just navigate the stairs so I don't even think I'd have enjoyed gaming much anyway. As an example if I watched something new (film/TV), I couldn't process what was happening, but if I watched things I'd already seen, I could relax so much more. I think with games there would have been too much happening both audio & visually.
Wow! Not good. I bought one of these USB fan coolers to try and help. While it certainly stopped the fan noise in general desktop use, in gaming it wasn't enough. I could get perhaps 20-30mins of a small map of 2 Point Hospital

Just installing Windows on new machine - started first time without issue so I'm very pleased about that. Was worried having bought components over 3 months one could be faulty. I'll move this to a new thread though... you can all critique once I've taken some latest pictures

I've put a silly amount of time into F3 over the years but don't actuality own it on PC, until today!
What did you have it on before?
I should really complete it, the intro to the game is one of the best if not the best as the reviewer says. I remember getting so far into it but hit a glitch with no save for hours. I was so disappointed and ended up never playing again. I also would like to go back to 1 & 2.
PS3, so plenty of crashes myself!
I got bored with FO3. Not my genre and really dull to keep hitting the inventory/cash limits.
However, I went and played Skyrim straight after and racked up over 400 hours in that, despite it being basically the exact same game!
