I forget to check it quite often so thought a post here might help.

Darn, already have it.... But for anyone who doesn't, it is well worth getting!!!

I cannot quote one of the funnier parts of the main plot due to the bad language involved (which is actually an essential component of the wordplay), but it's absolutely brilliant!!!

if you scroll to bottom of the page theres 5 DLC for free too. HD Textures, HD voice pack ebglish/german/french, HD sound pack

theyre probably still free after this week but better be safe than sorry. get em free now.

Well spotted, these are certainly free on Steam at all times, but as you say better to be safe than sorry if Epic act differently.

EDIT: If there are any Epic haters, the game is on sale currently over at Steam...

I hate Assassins Creed.
Pretty much everything that was great about the series died alongside Ezio. Even the rather cool ship combat could not resuscitate it.
I hate all the money-grabbing spin-offs, janky ports and buggy releases, unimaginitive reiterations of gameplay and plot, dysmal sequels that have nothing to do with being an Assassin, insistence on putting in new features for new games simply because they're new games but which result in awful gameplay, the merchandising, the mindbending boredom of Uplay... and the ridiculous film that looks like it may have actually assassinated Fassbender's acting career!!

But I will probably get this one, just because it's free.....

AC Syndicate is excellent and takes the series back to its roots after the amazing Black Flag. It is set during Victorian London and captures the era perfectly.
